The culture and identity of Adrian Steel today, is deeply rooted in the values the founder Bob Westfall planted back in 1953, when he started the company. Bob faced several obstacles in his life that would have defeated most people, but he had a “can-do” attitude and he loved to win. Despite having severe asthma his whole life, Bob learned how to not only overcome his condition, but push himself to reach success at the highest levels. He received All-American honors for the University of Michigan football team and went on to become All-Pro for the Detroit Lions.
Bob’s life experiences helped establish the foundation the company was built upon. He treated the challenges he faced in life as opportunities for success, and it was his ability to adapt and persevere that continues to inspire us at Adrian Steel to do the same.
Known as The “A” Team, the employees at Adrian Steel today are committed to emulating Bob’s ability to overcome adversity through teamwork and innovation. Rather than fear changes in the industry, we position our Team to be the ones who create the change.
While it is important to acknowledge where we came from, our primary focus is not where we have been, but rather where we are going. In order to remain the industry leader that we have worked so hard to become, we are connecting with our customers on a level never reached before. By applying our experience and implementing innovative solutions, we can support the changes needed for success in our customers business, today and tomorrow.
